This boulangerie is a local neighborhood shop with locations in NW Portland and Lake Oswego. Aside from a mouth-watering array of classic French pastries, there are also delicious baguette sandwiches, salads, soups, and of course coffee.
Say it with meC”BBboulangerie. Saint Honore evokes the rustic charm of French cooking and the picturesque French countryside. The bakery got its name from patron Saint HonorCB), who is traditionally considered the patron saint of bakers. A man named HonorCB) became the bishop of Amiens in 554, and during that time a number of miracles are said to have occurred saving farmers and bakers from natural disaster.
The chouquettes are considered a house specialty with their light doughy inside and crisp exterior covered in rock sugar. These little puff pastry balls, made with pCB”te CB choux cream puff dough, are seriously addicting.
